Gambia: Free Medical Clinics On The Way

Big Dreams and the International Medical & Dental Relief both from the U.S in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare (MoH&SW) are proud to announce a free Medical and Dental Relief from September 14-22, 2018 in the following locations:

1. Sika Village Upper Niumi North Bank West 16/09/18
2. Pakauu Village, Upper Niumi North Bank West, 16/09/18
3. Medina Sedia Upper, Niumi North Bank West, 16/09/18
4. Bondali Village, Foni, Western Region II, 20/09/18
5. Sanyang Village, Kombo South, Western Region II  21/09/18

All Services will be provided free of charge; First come first serve.

Our partnership with the Ministry of Health and the highest levels of government ensures cooperation between our organizations and provides oversight and local knowledge for the areas and populations with the greatest needs.

During our clinics, we will partner with local medical professionals to share knowledge about diagnoses and treatment. We will also provide community health education so that people are empowered to provide for their own health, as well as for the health of other community members.  We focus on the treatment of acute illness, the diagnosis and referral of chronic illness, partnership with local organizations to provide mass screenings and vaccination clinics, and education in partnership with community leaders and local teachers to provide sustainable improvement of health at the community level.
