The Gambia’s defeated President who refuses to leave office until forces come in on him has asked for a deadline extension. Yahya Jammeh begs to be given until 4PM Gambian time to State House on Friday. He will be forcefully removed by UN-backed forces. An earlier 12 noon deadline had passed as Presidents of Guinea and Mauritania arrived in the Gambia for a last-ditch talks aimed at convincing Yahya Jammeh to leave office or else be forced out militarily.
