Adama Barrow Takes Oath Of Office

The Gambia’s President-elect Adama Barrow has just taken oath of office at the country’s embassy in Dakar, Senegal. Barrow is the Gambia’s third President since gaining independence from Great Britain in 1965. He replaces Yahya Jammeh whose constitutional mandate expired on January 18th. Jammeh lost the December 1st election but refuses to relinguish power, threatening regional military intervention in the smallest country on mainland Africa. Under the guidance of Lawyer Sheriff Tambedou, President of the Gambia Bar Association, President Barrow swore allegiance to serve his country and her people “without favour, ill will or affection.” President Barrow was grateful to the world, particularly his Senegalese countrepart Macky Sall, ECOWAS leadera and the United Nations, for standing firm to enforce the “will of Gambian voters.” President Barrow is expected to be esorted home by regional military forces who are waiting for orders to flush out Yahya Jammeh and his rebel administration.

If Yaya Jammeh is still inside Banjul Statehouse until this hour, then we have an intruder in our Gambian Presidential Office who needs shorting out with fire power indeed.
I believe President Adama Barrow must therefore, no longer hold back the ECOWAS forces from roasting the Kanilai Chicken Yaya Jammeh is and his twats for the vultures with the mega arsenal they brought him for his legacy trophy.
