Gambian police have just honoured their promise to issue a permit to the touring convoy of the United Democratic Party.
However, the police are yet to dismantle the roadblocks that resulted to a standoff in Fass Njagga Choi in North Bank Region. With the permit in their hands, the UDP touring members are waiting for the police to remove the many illegal roadblocks.
Nothing is from from the police at the time of piecing together this news. The spirit among opposition members is high, the party’s youth leader Solo Sandeng said.
