The ousted ruling Alliance for Patriotic, Reorientation and Construction of former President Yahya Jammeh has expelled five rebel members of the party. The expulsion followed a very aggressive audio message by Sulayman Shingle Nyassi (one of the expelled members). Mr. Nyassi, the son of the late opposition leader Momodou Lamin Shyngle Nyassi, had an axe to grind with the APRC interim leader Fabakary Tombong Jatta and other party officials.

The Interim Party Leader of the APRC The Right Hon. Fabakary Tombong Jatta acting under Executive Powers vested on him by the Party Constitution, and in consultation with the National Executive Committee, and founder of the party H.E Sheikh Prof. Alh. Dr. Yahya A.J.J. Jammeh (Babili Mansa), wishes to inform the general public and APRC Militants that with effect from Thursday 9th January 2020, the following people has been expelled from the APRC Party.
1. Kittim Jarju of Germany
2. Sulayman Shyngle Nyassi of UK
3. Nabou Saho of Sweden
4. Cllr. Lamin Ceesay Asampulo Atti Jammeh Kunda of Brikama
5. Amie Jammeh of Germany
Their expulsion is necessitated to redress their actions and behaviors pose threat of jeopardizing the harmony and unity of the party. By this action, all of them may not use the name of the party or act in any way representing APRC.
Therefore, all supporters of the APRC are urged to take note and remove them from all APRC WhatsApp forums with immediate effect.
