Clean Up – Barrow’s Herculean Task

Please allow me sir on behalf of my organisation  to join  the rest of Gambians and the world to send my heartfelt congratulatory message to you on the occasion of your clear victory in the December 1st Presidential election.

Gambian people have spoken and chosen you as their President and leader with so much expectations. A verdict that must be respected by all and sundry.

However, you going to have a daunting task during your term in office as your predecessor has done so much mess and wrongs which Gambians are expecting you to clear out and put the country on good tracks.

Nevertheless, we believe you and your team are competent enough to put the Gambia on right course despite the crumbling economy and the poor human rights status you will be inheriting from the Jammeh administration.

Having listened to and watching your interviews and campaign, I have seen in you a leader that is tolerant and full of humanity.  With these two powerful instruments, you will succeed wholeheartedly by the grace of God.

We pray that the Almighty Allah protect and guide your administration to the best interest of Gambians. May the peace, harmony and prosperity  reign in our country to the salvation of all.

Finally, we wish you a happy, prosperous, and successful inauguration ahead in January.

Yours in service of the people
