FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
On 6/16/15, Gambia Democracy Fund (GDF) convened an emergency meeting and passed a motion to donate $1,200 for Coalition for Change Gambia to help defray the cost of travel and hotel accommodations for our comrades attending a summit in Geneva. These outstanding citizens of The Gambia left the comforts of their homes (most with
families) to continue the fight to restore democracy in our country. Through these endeavors, we have made great strides in revealing atrocities, oppression, intimidation, kidnappings and murder of innocent Gambians. Therefore, their exemplary work is worthy of commendation. Each and every one of us can play a role either by attending events in person or donating to causes. Just a reminder that GDF is a diaspora organization that is 100% dependent on
donations to enable us provide emergency funds for situations like the present.
