President Emmanuel Macron of France has renewed his government’s support to the Barrow government.
President Macron’s assurance is contained in a press statement issued by President Adama Barrow’s office.
His Excellency, Adama Barrow, President of the Republic of The Gambia has received a congratulatory message from H.E. Emmanuel Macron, President of the Republic of France on the occasion of the 54th anniversary celebration of The Gambia conveying his sentiments about the closer relationship between France and The Gambia.
The French President highlighted the current areas of cooperation such as the security sector reform programme, education, agriculture, access to water and electricity. He assured the Gambian leader of France’s continued partnership with The Gambia on its priority areas. President Macron concluded with best wishes to President Barrow and all the Gambian people.
