Kairo News invedtigation has revealed that the Gambia’s Secretaty General was not relieved ftom his post. Rather Sulayman Samba had tendered his resignation before the govetnment issued a statement announcing his sacking. The outgoing President Yahya Jammeh who is struggling to keep his camp in order will not accept any member of his expired government to desert. The ma. who rules thd once most peaceful countty with iron fist is refusing to step down after losing the December 1st presidential election.Samba was first appointed Secretary General and Head of Civil Service in November 2015. He was removed ftom office in June 2016 and reinstated in August the same year. Kairo News sources expect more defections in the Jammeh camp as the inauguration date of President-elect Adama Barrow.
