Today, President-elect Barrow and the Coalition Strategy Committee (CSC), shall receive and hold closed-door consultation with visiting Heads of States from Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone and the Special Envoy of the U.N Secrerary-General to West Africa. The only internationally recognized legitimate Authority in The Gambia continues to conduct international diplomacy on behalf of our country, demonstrating that The Gambia is now open to do business with the world. We encourage outgoing President to seriously rethink his steps and their critical implication, and align himself with public aspirations, without further attempting to truncate the transition process. This is the path of honour and dignity he must toe. The New Gambia is here to stay and is irreversible. That is the new reality that must be understood clearly.
