The Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad of the Republic of The Gambia, Dr. Mamadou Tangara was in the State of Kuwait on Monday July 6,2018 as a Special Envoy of His Excellency President Adama Barrow.
He was warmly welcomed by Kuwait’s Deputy Prime Minister, His Excellency Sheikh Khaled as well as Foreign Minister His Excellency Al- Hamad Al-Sabah.
The two sides discussed at length the means to foster close bilateral relations between the two countries. They also discussed regional as well as international issues of concern to both The Gambia and Kuwait.
The meeting ended on a high note of commitment to further strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries to higher heights.
