The English premiership transfer deadline witnesses huge sums changing hands between multi-million Dollar football clubs. Top players stretch their contracts to the last minutes influencing price tags and contractual agreements. The panic buying usually doesn’t involve young inexperienced players. Gambian young talented player Modou Barrow became a Swansea City player during this transfer deadline window. Congratulation Modou, put your head down and work hard. Avoid the easy trapping of footballers’ high life.

Young striker arrives from Swedish side Ostersunds.

Swansea City have completed the signing of Ostersunds FK striker Modou Barrow for an undisclosed fee.
The 21-year-old arrives at the Liberty on a performance-related contract and will now link up with the club’s Under-21 squad.
Barrow, who was born in the Gambia, moved to Sweden as a youngster and has featured for a number of clubs before scoring 10 goals in 19 appearances for Ostersunds last season.
“I’m delighted to be here,” he said. “I now can’t wait to get going and improve each day in training and try to score some goals.
“I like the way Swansea play football, it reminds me of how I used to play back home. I’ve watched a lot of their games on TV and I was impressed with what I saw.
“They like to give young players a chance and hopefully I can progress here.”
Barrow goes straight into the Under-21s squad for tonight’s Development League Two South fixture against Birmingham City at Landore (6.30pm).
Supporters are reminded that entry is FREE, but there is no parking on the Landore site.
