Gambian president is reported to have contracted butchers from Brazil.
Our State House sources said the said butchers originally hailed from Syria. “They have been living in Brazil when President Yahya Jammeh contracted them for the slaughter mission,” our source confirmed.
“Jammeh brought the three men to the Gambia to serve as his personal butchers,” State House anonymous source said, accusing President Jammeh of personalizing the 2,000 bulls donated by the Brazilian government. The said bulls were meant to boost the Gambia’s horticulture industry.
Kairo News also heard that the butchers have been in the Gambia for seven months without doing anything. “Though they were still being paid by President Jammeh, the butchers were completely desperate and decided to do butchery services elsewhere in the country,” a source familiar with the story said.
