COMMITTEE FOR THE VICTIMS OF JAMMEH’S ATROCITIES AND APRIL 10/11 MEMORIAL FOUNDATION

         For immediate release

The committee for the victims of Jammeh’s atrocities invites the families of the disappeared, presumed dead, assassinated, wrongly imprisoned and tortured during Jammeh’s AFPRC-APRC reign of terror.

The committee was recently formed to agitate the families of the survivors and victims alike to demand justice long denied. We are urging the families of all victims to have courage and join us to strengthen our numbers.

The committee will hold its first press conference on March 30, 2017 at 4:00PM at Dr. Amadou Janneh’s office by the Kotu Fire Station.

The April 10/11 Memorial Foundation in collaboration with the Committee for the victims of Jammeh’s atrocities, SENDGO and IPDG are organizing a grand commemoration in observance of a memorial for all the victims of Jammeh’s 22yrs of regime’s brutality. The commemoration will be organized in a two-day event; a March and Arts festival on the 10th of April, a Symposium and a football game on the 11th of April.

With the “New Gambia”, we march into the “halls of justice” with rekindled optimism for social justice.
